01.Information we collect
When you submit a project brief, contact request, speed-test request, support ticket, or service order, we may collect your name, email address, website URL, company or project details, messages, requested service, and related timestamps and status information.
If you create an account, we process account identifiers, display name, email address, profile image when provided by the sign-in provider, authentication status, project history, tickets, attachments, and invoices connected to the account.
Our hosting, security, and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request logs, and error information needed to deliver and protect the website.
02.How we use information
We use information to review inquiries, communicate about scope, deliver and support services, manage client accounts, send transactional confirmations and status notices, create invoices, protect the platform, diagnose problems, and comply with applicable obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use project briefs or private client materials to train a public artificial-intelligence model.
03.Service providers
WPGeared currently uses Cloudflare for website delivery and security; Google Firebase for authentication, database, file storage, and server functions; Gmail infrastructure for transactional email; Google PageSpeed Insights when you request a speed test; and Tawk.to only when the chat feature is opened.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Additional hosting, domain, payment, analytics, or software providers may be involved when a client project requires them and the client authorizes that work.
04.Cookies and local storage
Authentication and client-dashboard features may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technology to maintain a secure session. The chat provider may set its own identifiers after the chat tool is opened. You can clear or block browser storage, but account and chat features may stop working correctly.
05.Sharing and disclosure
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the platform or deliver an approved service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer where appropriate safeguards apply.
Project access should be shared through the secure method agreed after intake. Do not place passwords, private keys, card information, or production credentials in a public inquiry form.
06.Retention and security
We retain records for as long as reasonably needed for the client relationship, support history, accounting, dispute prevention, security, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and may be affected by backup schedules and provider requirements.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, provider security features, scoped accounts, and operational safeguards. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so clients should use temporary, least-privilege access wherever possible.
07.International processing
WPGeared is based in India and serves clients in the United States and other countries. Information may therefore be processed in India, the United States, or other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
08.Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required for contracts, accounting, security, or legal obligations.
To ask a privacy question or make a request, email help@wpgeared.com. We do not knowingly offer the platform to children under 13 or intentionally collect their personal information.
